He covered publishing content to platform, BI platform or NetWeaver and the related consumption options.
This blog covers publication and some consumption workflows. His webcast covered several questions I've seen in the discussion forum, so I hope this helps.
Publication Workflow

Design Studio is based on client workstation
The designer changes the setting to connect to BI Platform as shown in Figure 1.
Then the designer restarts the application and logs on

Figure 2 shows how to create the application, choose a data source, design application.
To publish to BI Platform “save as” to save in BI4 repository – personal or public folder

Application may depend on images or style sheets and you publish those to the platform
If you use the BI Mobile application, you need to assign a Mobile category
NetWeaver Publication

Figure 4 covers publication to BW NetWeaver platform.
You need the SAPLOGON.ini on workstation and define the server instance so you can connect with Design Studio
In NetWeaver case with images and style sheets – from the SAP Gui transation, run SE80 and then the transaction
Mime type is correct
Consumption Scenarios

Figure 5 shows you can consume Design Studio application through the Launchpad, use the OpenDoc URL, Mobile BI, Enterprise Portal or SharePoint; review the Enterprise portal limitations mentioned in the note above.

Figure 6 shows the result of right click, Document Link,
Once you have that, you can call from various places
You need Mobile BI 5.0 or later after adding to the Mobile category
Third type is NetWeaver Portal and MS SharePoint
You can build a document iView with Enterprise Portal
